Concept Statement

After a lot of writing, scribbling out, writing, scribbling out...we have come up with a simple, obvious concept statement that works for now, but could perhaps change if we come up with a strapline or something for our designs later on:

Brief Title: British Music Experience

What is the problem?
  1. Need new/more customers
  2. Not making enough money
  3. Need more publicity - people don't know where they are
  4. They are unsure about what they actually want - open brief & broad audience
  5. People don't know about them and what they have to offer/show
We intend to: PROMOTE & PERSUADE varied aged people who have a genuine interest in eras within the last 60 years history of British music and its cultural influence that is based on our concept statement, where we aim to create a 'Campaign to raise awareness of the British Music Experience exhibition'.

In order to achieve this I will produce: Various methods of promotion from magazine/newspaper press ads and leaflets, to the more complex and larger scale methods, such as posters for the tube station, bus stops and designs on the tube station floor/walls where buskers play, etc.

This will be produced using: A set of printed poster designs that are scalable to cover the range of media mentioned above.
